| Our Quixote is a road movie nourished by the tension between imagination and the fascism of ideas. Its goal is to be a show in the full sense of the word: it aims to astonish and delight the audience, to be funny and moving, both from the acting and the staging which, through elaborate visuals, achieve milestones of maximum stage beauty. Nonetheless, it doesn’t refuse to be a journey of the ideas and philosophical and political thought, to make us reflect and activate the memory machine of the audience, from the original text by Miguel de Cervantes and through a co-production of MoM with the Leeds Play House (UK).
